The Good, the Great and the bad-ish —effectively planning your days + news on our Wellness line!

“I’m the bad guy…duh” —Billie Eilish

Not sure what this has to do with anything. The song's just been playing over and over in my head...

With our Wellness line on its way💃🕺, I thought it best to give you all a little more insight on how you could use your LyfLyn planners and journals.

In the previous blog, I talked about the importance of journaling and how organisation can help with anxiety. So, the aim of this post us to go through the three different products I have designed and enlighten you on how to use them efficiently and for your benefit. But before I get to that, I have some not-so-great news 🙁.

Our official launch is going to be pushed back by a month😢. We were previously launching the Wellness planners and journals in mid-August, and now due to some logistical errors this will happen in mid-September. I’m particularly saddened by this because I really wanted you to get a hold of these products ASAP so that you can start living your best life. Unfortunately, some things are out of our control and we can only tell you that we might have some gifts in store for you come September as our way of saying “THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING AND FOR BEING PATIENT!” 😉

Now, lets get to the tea ☕!!

I have designed three different planners as part of our Wellness line. Why? Well, because no two people are the same, and my hope is that at least one of the three (if not all of them) suit your day-to-day needs or whatever situation you are going through at the moment.

  • The LyfLyn Journal

Like the name suggests, the main objective for this product is to journal. This product is best suited for someone who wants to adopt the habit of journaling, a great tool for relieving stress, anxiety and depression as well keeping in touch with the self. ❤

I have included some journaling tips in the first spread that you can always refer to as you use your journal. It’s a dateless journal so it’s completely up to you to decide how often you want to use it. As someone who journals often, I can tell you that there are days when you open a page and have absolutely nothing to write (in my case, I usually just scribble things instead) therefore it works out really well when you’re not tied to a date.

This gorgeous planner also has a ribbon bookmark and an expandable back pocket at the back for your keepsakes! I would recommend this journal to everyone (preferably alongside a planner) so that you can start to practice ‘effective journaling’ which will help you meet your goals, make you more self-aware and enhance your sense of well-being!

  • The LyfLyn Daily Planner

I designed this one for the super-organiser 💪 —think superwoman OR superman!

One spread has all the CHECKLISTS you need, including a TO-DON’T list. Now, I have been asked about what the point of this is and the best way I can answer this is by suggesting some of the articles I have read on how effective to don’t lists are. I suggest you read this fantastic article article on 'how to make a to-don't list' and I also recommend 20 examples of things that should be on your to don’t list. From my point of view, the most effective part of planning my day has been centred around learning how to respect the things I don't need to do as well as things that I ought to delegate to others.

The second spread is made for NOTES —these could be notes taken during a meeting or (and I do this often) you could use this space for journaling. I usually write down how I feel and how I plan on approaching the day in one of the columns and then leave the second for any other notes. But hey, I say this a lot, and I’ll say it again—YOUR JOURNAL/PLANNER, YOUR RULES!! I’m just trying to let you in on what I was aiming for when I designed the pages. 😊

Similar to the journal, this planner has a ribbon bookmark and expandable back pocket!

  • The LyfLyn Loose-Leaf (Monthly, Weekly and Challenges) Planner

Lastly, made for someone who is keen to see a summary of their whole week and goals in one-go, this planner is PERFECT for noting down those monthly goals and weekly goals, meetings and appointments in a glance.

I also designed a special CHALLENGES section just for that extra push. If you have a habit you’d like to build (or break), this is the perfect tracker. Be kind to yourself and give yourself a reward for every 10-day streak that you pull off!!

Key fact: this is a loose-leaf planner and therefore there’s potential to easily refill it (we will be putting up inserts for sale on our website), whilst keeping the same jacket. Note that the jacket has multiple pockets for your cards, etc. at the front and a pen loop at the back.

It’s a super sleek planner y’all.

So, once again, apologies for the postponement of these gems but I PROMISE, it will be worth the wait!! 🌹

PS: They will be available in the following colours (as seen in the photos) to start:

  1. Journals- Mink and Padua

  2. Daily Planners- Chilean Flamingo and Midnight Green

  3. Loose- Leaf Planners- Salamander and Tawny

Thank you,

SK 😘
