💪🏽What to consider when choosing a physical wellness trainer/guru.

Here are a few things to consider when choosing the right physical fitness guru for you. These will help ease your mind as you trust someone else to educate and guide you on how to transform your body and mind:

Do your research.

Look for reviews, you can even reach out to people they've worked with. Are they certified? What is there experience, how long have they been doing this?

Know your body.

What do you want to achieve? Do you want lose weight, get flexible, be strong and toned, recover from body damage? Get to know that because different trainers can help you achieve different results.

Make sure you feel comfortable.

Look for someone who listens and is humble, someone who isn't disrespectful to you and/or others in the industry. If they are condescending, then you'll likely not be able to work with them.

Trust is important.

Be sure to build trust so that you feel safe. Are they telling you too much about their previous clients, for example, showing you photos with faces, etc? Will they really show up for you?

It's also important that they are non-judgmental.

If you're afraid to tell them the truth about what you ate for fear of being judged then you're likely dealing with the wrong person.

Time.

Don't believe the hype of quick schemes e.g lose 20kgs in 2 days. Easy come, Easy go. It takes time to rebuild and mold your body, whether you're losing or gaining weight, muscle, healing and so on. So be patient with yourself and work with someone who understands that as well.
