10 Wellness Podcasts You Should Be Listening To

A few of our fave listens that your ears, time off and mind are going to thank you for.

I’ve been curating this list since November last year. I really took my time and listened to at least 15 episodes from over 30 podcasts. Choosing 10 was so difficult but it came down to a handful that covered all aspects of wellness— physical, spiritual, financial, social, occupational, emotional, intellectual, cultural and environmental! These are listed in no particular order.


1. Mental Health Remix


This is a beautiful podcast by one of our biz-besties Nicole who is a Psychotherapist. The goal of the podcast to crush the stigma on mental health by speaking freely about it.

It is a very informative podcast and there's a couple of episodes on how to manage through a crisis.


 

2. Healthy Living With Naturopath Angela Busby

Information! Information! Information! Angela dives into all things food, digestive disorders, food sensitivities, nutrients and their effect in the body as well as speaking about the different diets, GMOs, vaccinations and so much more.


 

3. Can We Talk Podcast

This is a beautifully honest and raw podcast by Belinda Katumba, a Ugandan. She shares stories about various topics related so social wellness and the various pressures of life.


 

4. Affirm

One of my faves for sure. Although this Redefine Enough podcast had its final episode in October last year, there's plenty of goodness in every single episode as the host, Davia, dives into topics such as self-worth, wholeness, emotional and cultural wellness.


 

5. Black Girl in Om

DEEP! Looking for enlightened conversations on all things wellness, self-care and self-love, especially as a woman of color? Then this is the podcast for you. Every time I listen to one of these, I pause and take a moment to journal and reflect on my own life. Simply powerful.


 

6. CREATE with Katrina Julia

Wellness for an entrepreneur! Katrina dives into financial and occupational wellness, faith, wealth and business. She gives tip and tools on various topics that can lead to the transformation of the lifestyle of an entrepreneur, as well as sharing her own story.


 

7. Overcoming You

This is a very empowering podcast as Josh has conversations on overcoming obstacles with people from all walks of life. Think intellectual wellness and so much more.

If you think you're in a bind, choose an episode with a title close to what you're going through, I guarantee that you'll pick up a tip or two on how to overcome and you'll definitely be inspired to take on new challenges.


 

8. Feel Better Live More

The main reason why I love this podcast is that Dr. Rangan simplifies what seem like super complicated topics on health theories (physical and mental) as well as common myths.

They are fairly long and heavy episodes (usually over an hour) but you will leave satisfied, no stone is left unturned.


 

9. Rebel & Muse

We keep talking about designing your life and lifestyle (checkout our membership- The LyfStyle). Well, listen in as Melanie and Kaleo talk about how they merged their two lives to design and create the life they both wanted to live, together.

This is particularly good for teams and couples or if you're interested in learning the tips and hacks on human interaction and team integration. You'll definitely get a mindset shift from this one.


 

10. The Wellness Mama Podcast

Katie dives into holistic health in this podcast, and she also covers wellness surrounding parenting and motherhood. She also gives some very actionable solutions that can help improve your family's life!
